How does Mira differ from OPK/Ovulation predictor kit?Updated 20 days ago
The Mira Monitor tracks your actual hormonal levels throughout your cycle and displays your unique hormone curve over time. The machine learning–powered app can learn your cycle patterns and identify hormone surges and peaks based on your individual data. Mira uses lab-grade fluorescent technology miniaturized into a palm-sized device for at-home use.
Unlike traditional ovulation tests that typically provide threshold-based results or simple positive/negative indications, Mira delivers quantitative (numeric) hormone measurements, allowing users to see actual hormone values and trends across their cycle. Depending on the kit, Mira can track multiple fertility hormones — including LH, E3G, PdG, and FSH — to provide a broader view of cycle patterns than tracking only LH.
Because hormone levels and timing can vary from woman to woman and from cycle to cycle, Mira is designed to help users better understand their own hormone fluctuations over time. The app stores historical cycle data, helping users visualize hormone trends and patterns across multiple cycles.
