I heard that free period apps sell users’ data. The Mira app is free. Does it mean you do the same?Updated 6 months ago

Definitely not. This is not the case with Mira.

Yes, our app is free, but our app is tied to our main solution: the Mira Analyzer and Mira Wands—making our business model different from the free period and ovulation tracking apps. Our physical products cost money – that’s why our app is free.

Meaning: we don’t sell (and we won’t ever sell) users' data to any third parties – advertisers, data brokers, whoever.

Though we want to be fully transparent: like every consumer brand, we do use some trusted and carefully selected service providers (like data analytics tools) to process data on our behalf. For these purposes, we only share this data when a customer has consented to sharing the information. And surely, we don’t make any money from this, we only spend money – to get important insights and provide better solutions for our customers.

It is important to note that your menstrual cycle information and hormone level data (i.e., fertility hormone data) are collected exclusively to provide our services to you and enable you to use the Mira device for its intended purposes. We do not share this information with any third parties.
