No, tracking BBT is not the best way to predict ovulation. Since it only rises after ovulation, due to the effect of progesterone on body temperature, it cannot be used to predict ovulation. However, it is a proven way to confirm that ovulation has happened. The best way to predict ovulation is through tracking E3G and LH with Mira. Combining Mira with BBT is an excellent way to predict and confirm ovulation and learn more about your unique cycle patterns.
