PdG curveUpdated 6 months ago

The X-axis is the day relative to the LH surge day, Y-axis is the PdG value tested by Mira Fertility Confirm Wand. The solid line represents the average of the PdG levels, and the dotted lines represent the fluctuation range of the PdG levels.

The shift in PdG levels will depend on each person, as PdG levels fluctuate depending on your cycle and other factors. Mira Fertility Confirm Wand tests urinary metabolic of Progesterone, whose primary metabolic is PdG, along with other metabolic. The PdG levels tested by Mira are around 5μg/ml during the follicular phase. Not like many market available products, Mira doesn’t use a fixed threshold to confirm ovulation since different people in various cycles may have different levels of PdG.

PdG starts rising 1-2 days after LH peak and peaks at about 6-8 days after ovulation. During the luteal phase, PdG levels tested by Mira are generally at about 2.5-25μg/ml. Due to the self-regulating nature of progesterone, the rise of PdG after ovulation fluctuates.
