There is no one set schedule for everyone — the Mira App creates a testing schedule tailored to your cycle and hormonal data.
How to find your recommended test days in the app:
- Check the Mira App home page, right below your cycle wheel.
- Tap the "Add" button at the bottom of the screen and select "Test hormones" to see when your next recommended test is.
- Go to the Calendar section — dots on specific days indicate recommended test days.
- Go to the Chart page — your Mira tip for the current day includes information about your upcoming test.
The Mira App will also send you a notification when it's time to test, depending on your cycle length. After your period, you may be notified to test every day — otherwise, it may be every 2 to 3 days.
It's best to test with your first-morning urine (FMU) for the highest accuracy. During your fertile window, also do a second test later in the day, since ovulation can happen in the afternoon.
Note: No worries if you can't test with FMU. If you test later in the day, just allow a 2-hour "no-liquid" window beforehand — testing right after drinking liquids can affect your results.

It's up to you, but the more days you test, the more accurate your results will be. We recommend testing on at least 70%+ of Mira's recommendations if you're trying to conceive.
Of users who followed Mira's testing recommendations at 70%+, 95% conceived within 6 cycles and 76% conceived within 3 cycles.
