When do I test?Updated 6 months ago
In the Mira app, you should see dots on your designated test days. The dots will be displayed on the calendar screen!
The Mira app will notify you when it is time to test on your smartphone, depending on your cycle length. After your period, you may be notified to test every day— otherwise, it may be every 2 to 3 days.
It's best to test with your First-Morning Urine (FMU) to get the highest accuracy on your test results. During your fertile window, you should also do a second test later in the day because ovulation can happen in the afternoon.
Note: No worries if you can't test using your FMU. It’s ok if you want to test later in the day. Just make sure you allow a 2-hour "no-liquid" window beforehand. If you test right after drinking liquids, it can negatively affect your test results.
“Should I test on ALL of the Mira App recommended colored dot days?”
It's totally up to you! However, the more days you test, the more accurate your results will be. We recommend you test on your designated days for at least 70%+ of Mira’s recommendations if you’re trying to conceive.
Of the 70%+ users who followed Mira’s testing recommendations, 95% of them conceived in 6 cycles, and 76% of users conceived within 3 cycles :)!
