Can I use Mira if I take Clomid?Updated 6 months ago
As you know, Clomid helps with follicle development by stimulating the Luteinizing hormone (LH) and the Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) release. FSH helps with follicle development and LH triggers ovulation. The stimulation of Clomid may result in a high baseline of FSH and LH, which may cause a false positive, but Mira Fertility Wand and Mira Fertility Plus Wand can detect the actual levels of LH in urine, track its changes, and predict the ovulation based on the changing levels, not on a certain threshold.
Clomid may raise progesterone levels in some cases [1]. So if you test a higher level of PdG with Mira Fertility Confirm Wand than usual during the cycle, usually it will not affect the Fertility Score defined by the Mira App based on the hormone test and cycle information, correlated with ovulation. If you always get greater than 15 results, we suggest you change the test PdG time to afternoon.
